After having no sessions for quite a few months, thanks to the winter season, I was SO excited when engagement inquiries started rolling in again. I found myself easily dreaming about summer dresses, the love and laughter shared between each amazing couple.. and GOLDEN HOUR! When Candace + I planned out their engagement session, it never crossed our minds that the first week of April would be so cold! 40 degrees to be exact! However, Dan + Candace were total TROOPERS through it all!!
They attended the same school in high school and knew each others names, but that wasn’t enough to get them connected. In the summertime, there was a group of local friends that had a specific parking lot that was their central meeting “hangout” spot. Candace and her friend were causally driving by one day when her friend, yelled out the window, “Shes Single!”. Thinking nothing of it, Candace drove back through town about an hour later to get gas when one of Dan’s friends approached her. He told her that he had a friend in that group who would like to meet her. After being pressured by their friends to meet each other, they hit it off from there, and have been together now for almost 4 years :)
I love the thought meeting your future husband/wife doesn’t always have to be “picture-perfect”.. but rather the perfect story of how it all began:)
Dan + Candace. I have loved every moment that was spent with you two. Your joy and excitement for your wedding day just glows from you both! :) I’m so grateful and honored to be such a valuable part of your wedding day! Here’s to you! xo!
