This couple takes me back to our high school days, where I met both of them in 9th grade. Attending a new high school, or a new school in general (I went to the same school from K-8th grade!!) it can be intimidating. You try to be a part of friendships and groups that have been together from THEIR middle school years. But one of the girls that I got to know during high school was Bri. She always wore a big smile and was ready to give a hug at any time of the day. We shared the same lunch time and even had a class or two together! Looking back, I’ll always be grateful for her friendship and how she accepted a “new girl” as a new friend! :)

While they both attended PV middle school, they became best friends in 5th grade and never lost contact since. After finishing high school, their friendship became much stronger and over time became more of a relationship. One evening, Bri, George and her whole family took a trip to Koziar’s Christmas Village to see all of the Christmas lights. However, the night before, George strategically instructed Bri to go get her nails painted, and to wear something nice that matched him. She sensed something was up, but agreed to do as he suggested.

After walking around the property ground with Christmas lights strung all over the trees, Bri’s mother suggested George, Bri and her son Parker get a photo in the covered bridge! As Bri was showing Parker all of the Christmas lights, she turned to see why George wasn’t with them yet on the bridge! “As I turned around, everyone had their phones out and George was on one knee!! I was so happy and shocked that I didn’t even look at the ring until about 10 minutes later!!”.

Bri + George, what a pleasure and honor it was to a part of your friendship. It has been so fun getting to know you both over the years and now seeing you guys grow closer together! I’m so excited for your 2017 wedding and also your new little bundle of joy due in December!! Enjoy!!
