Jack + Dorothy started off their relationship in the most perfect way : a “date” to chick-fil-a. And if that isn’t reason enough to get married.. then I don’t know what is! (#TOTALLYKIDDING)

It first started when both Jack + Dorothy were younger when he was always over at her house to hang out with her two older brothers (you already know where this is headed!). Fast forward to 2014 when Jack asked Dorothy out for lunch to Chick-fil-a. (Such a smooth move! Haha!) At the time, she was super stressed with nursing school and the thought of going out with Jack was, “he’s nothing more than a friend”. After Jack insisted that she went with him she agreed but one condition, “I don’t want to be more than friends.”

They managed to talk for hours on end up until the point that Jack was almost late to softball practice that evening. Jack later told Dorothy that he told himself after their date, ‘Yeah, she’ll come around.”

Only two short months later, Jack was right and Dorothy came around. Two years later as they were taking a walk, they came upon a spot off the side of a mountain that you could hear the water trickling from the creek below and the birds chirping as the sun was tucked behind the trees. Knowing that they planned to waiting until her student debt was paid off, Dorothy was shocked when she turned around to see Jack down on one knee. After exclaiming, “WHAT?!” she followed up by saying, “YES!!.”

Jack + Dorothy – You made 98 degrees look like NOTHING during your session and they way you two love each other is so obvious. Thankful for you two and the honor to document your story!! Enjoy my favorites from your session!! Xo!
