As I was traveling to the wedding venue, I had light rain/mist the whole way there, which had me mentally planning out my day as plan B. Upon arrival, the skies were cloudy (which was best case scenario) and the rain had STOPPED for the ENTIRE DAY.

Having 10 girls in a small room surely made for some zig-zagging and working in the dark (sorry girls! Natural light wins! Haha!). Although it never minimized the fun, laughter and small talk all morning. Sharing in two adorable first looks, one with her dad and one with her (almost) husband, Lauren surely was a beautiful and radiant bride. Let the reaction photos show you that!;) Deciding to keep the ceremony outdoors, they were blessed with ABUNDANT sunshine during the message and vows, followed by the kiss and the recessional. Walking through the crowd of cheering guests, Shawn and Lauren found their seats at the sweetheart table at the front of the room. Sharing in a first dance and dances with their parents, and walking around to different guests tables .. it was obvious that they treasured time with loved ones. We ended the night with a few dusk photos .. soaking in all of the bliss of finally being married <3.

Shawn and Lauren – you two are an incredible couple, loving and caring so deeply about others and also over-the-moon in love for each other. Your wedding day was truly an honor to document and it so excited that your long awaited day has already come! Congrats to the new Mr. + Mrs. Pettis! Xo! – kelsey

Second first look! As they say it best, “Two (first looks) is better than one!” ;) Overwhelmed with her beauty.. how could you NOT? Lauren you were a STUNNER! just yes. the emotion on her face and the comfort of him touching her arm.. <3333 I. love. these. bouquets. FULL and filled with lots of greens and whites!! The pink was the perfect accent to the navy dresses! Custom florals did INCREDIBLE. I love how classy the back of these bridesmaids dresses were! LAUREN! <3 when you bring your head up from the prayer and see the groomsmen doing this… yessss. hahah!! a keeper image for sure <333 I’ve never seen someone dance THIS CRAZY AMAZING. Word has it he was even on a dancing show?! Makes total sense. married .. <3!
