I’m not sure I’ve ever mentioned that I love NYC and the city life – but only for a short time. I’ve always wanted to go to NYC and see Times Square, so a few years ago my husband and I went for the first time and it was so surreal. We parked in Hoboken, NJ and made sure our first stop was Carlos Bakery (priorities, people!). So when Catherine’s inquiry dropped in my inbox for an engagement session in Hoboken, NJ – y’all I was EXCITED!!
We met up in Starbucks and I was instantly greeted with a hug (the best)! We walked and talked to our first destination and had the whole area to ourselves. As I suspected, Patrick and Catherine were amazing (and dang adorable) and I loved watching the two of them together. Their playful laughter and the way they look at each other is enough to convince anyone that they’re meant for each other.
On Catherine’s 30th birthday, Patrick convinced her to to allow him to throw her a 30th birthday party with 20-30 of their closest friends and family. Not being one for parties or the center of attention, Catherine hesitantly agreed. It was the morning of the party and with just Catherine and Hudson their dog inside their Hoboken apartment, Patrick proposed to Catherine. After basking in newly engaged bliss, just a few hours later they were able to share the excitement with their loved ones! <3
Patrick + Catherine – I’m so beyond grateful for you two – for bringing me to Hoboken and trusting my vision for your session. You know I loved every minute of it and getting to third wheel with you two was the cherry on top! Oh, and meeting sweet Hudson! ;) SO excited for your wedding next year at the Brandywine Manor House is going to be beautiful!! Enjoy some of my (many) favorites!!!
until next time, hoboken <3
