It all started during Amy’s freshman year at Millersville University when she spotted the “most good looking guy she ever saw” driving a pick up truck that was similar to hers. She kept an eye on him for two years and even her friends knew him as “the truck guy”. They crossed paths different times throughout that time but one night at a fall softball game, Amy’s sister and brother-in-law confronted her about this guy that they found for Amy! They described him as, “going to Millersville for business, almost as tall as mark (Amy’s brother-in-law), goes to Ruhls church, 03 Chevy duramax, nice eye lashes, 21, can hit a homerun.” They showed Amy his photo and to her excitement it was “that truck guy” a.k.a Kyle!

They shared a double date with Amy’s sister and brother-in-law before going on their own first date, which only strengthened their relationship until now!

Kyle took Amy for a hike at the top of the Susquehanna River where it had an overlook view. While they were enjoying the sunset view, kyle got down on one knee and asked Amy to marry him and of course, she said YES!

Kyle + Amy, you guys are adorable. It’s been so much fun getting to know you on a deeper level, Amy, after just crossing paths with you during your sisters wedding! I love the way you light up around each other and are confident to just be yourself. Your wedding day will be nothing short of amazing and FUN and I cannot wait to see you guys become Mr + Mrs!! Xo!
