There’s not enough time or words that I can use, to sum up Steve + Kaitlin’s wedding day at Highland Vue Farm! It goes far beyond the wedding day and also so much to say about how genuine, excited (!!), kind, and loving Steve + Kaitlin are! Anxiously waiting for their wedding day to arrive is an understatement!

First off, let’s talk about the wedding day because I believe that Kaitlin nailed it on the head. She said, “I want an elegant wedding, with a touch of formal and rustic. If I could paint the picture, we want to host a wedding where people have a great time. We have lots of friends and family members who mean a lot to us, and we want them to have a great time celebrating with us!”. The guests mingled with each other from the cocktail hour to the reception and beyond like they were one big family! Truly, it felt like I was just photographing one big family reunion!

I know every couple is excited about their wedding day but seriously, do you see Kaitlin’s face in a lot of these photos? SO CUTE. It was so easy to strike up a conversation with Steve + Kaitlin and they made you feel like you’ve already been friends for years! During their reception, they took the time to say a big thank you to their guests but then Kaitlin took the microphone and individually thanked the VENDORS that helped with their wedding day! Lastly, I loved their passion for each other, for each of their guests that traveled to spend the day with them and for the Lord!

One very last (special) moment that I remember so clearly is that right before they jumped into the car after their sparkler exit, Kaitlin came right up to me, gave me the biggest hug and said, “You’re the BEST”. Cue all the happy and heart-warming feelings!

In conclusion, Steve + Kaitlin – I’m so so thankful and HONORED to have been part of your wedding day. I knew from the moment you inquired that we would be a great fit and you’ve welcomed me in with open arms! So thankful for our (new) friendship and I can’t wait to see where it goes! Congrats, Mr + Mrs Manbeck! xo!
