This engagement session at Longwood Gardens was captured at the perfect time, so we were told. We were able to unintentionally schedule it during the time that their pink flowers were in full bloom at the arches. Which is one of the biggest reasons why I love photographing at Longwood Gardens because it’s always changing! However, it does mean that there are often a lot of people you need to work around, which was the case for this engagement session at Longwood.
One of the coolest parts of working with Brendan & Emily is that I unknowingly already met them in person! They were guests at this past wedding of mine and so they got to see me work and get a taste of what to expect for their big day! Once we made the connection during their wedding inquiry zoom call, it was instantly meant to be! I’m so excited for their Inn at Barley Sheaf farm wedding next year!
“We met in SAT Vocab Prep class junior year of high school (CB East). We sat next to each other and I immediately had a crush on him because I thought he looked like Justin Bieber (he had long flippy/skateboarder hair LOL). He also got a 100% on every vocab quiz each week so I was definitely impressed how smart he was. I would hide my quiz score so he didn’t know I scored so much worse than him haha”.
“My favorite things about Brendan: His calmness and positivity. Brendan has such a calm personality and can really help calm me down if I’m feeling worried/anxious about something. He rarely worries and is such a positive person. He really is my rock and helps ground me.”
“Secondly, I love his passion. Brendan is such a passionate person! He is so passionate about life and his work. I’ve met few people that are genuinely so happy to go to work each day. Brendan has so much passion for nuclear energy and basically saving the world with nuclear energy. Watching him be so excited about his work fills me with joy.”
“I love when she puts on her “cute voice” when she wants something haha and I love the compassion and dedication she has to teaching her students and when she gets all excited and happy talking about things they do.”
