I remember this Moonstone Manor Wedding like it was yesterday. There were so many special and personal moments that they included in their wedding day but also some not so special moments. Like the fact that we were threatened by a *nasty* thunderstorm all morning during photos right up until the ceremony. Running around as fast but as calmly as possible trying to hit all of the locations for photos made for a quick and crazy morning!
Aside from that, the personal moments far outweighed the bad. First off, I loved that Emily incorporated her son in the father/daughter first look. Her dad and her son stood together and then turned around to see Emily in her dress and her sons reaction was the sweetest thing! You can see his reaction for yourself later!
My second favorite moment that Emily incorporated was her son walking her halfway down the aisle first before handing her off to her dad!
Lastly, at the reception, Oliver gave one of the most genuine speeches to his guests, the parents and also to his new bride, Emily. I don’t know about you but I always think it’s so thoughtful and humbling when bride and grooms take time out of their own wedding day to pause and say thank you. I know how much work goes into a wedding and hearing Oliver’s deep words of gratitude was just one more example of how incredible their wedding day truly was!
