Every now and then I get emails regarding a session other than an Engagement or Wedding. Because I am fully committed to engagements/weddings, I do take on a few select sessions throughout the year when I have a few spare days. Every wedding season is different and allows me a little time each year to squeeze in a few extra sessions last minute. Kelly was one of those select sessions that I’m SO thankful I was able to add her to my schedule. It’s SO fun learning about my clients and getting to know them on a more personal level. Working with a wide range of different clients, often allows me to play the “Mennonite Game”. [Basically, covering the family tree and making connections with knowing the same family member, friend, or even a friend of a friend.] I LOVE making connections with my clients, and so far it’s been proved that I usually know at least ONE other mutual friend/relative with each of my clients!! So that being said, Kelly’s Mother contacted me and told me up front that Kelly was referred to me by her co-worker Krista, whom I photographed their wedding in 2013! [You can view that here] With previously knowing that connection, it was easier to make multiple connections with Kelly during her session! It’s no doubt that Kelly glows with happiness and can get along with anyone who crosses paths with her! What a joy it was to laugh + connect with you during your shoot, Kelly! You will go SO far in life. Keep flashing that beautiful smile of yours! xo!
