I never really made a “public announcement” that I do mentoring sessions to other entrepreneurs. It was more of a “behind-the-scenes” offer that I was willing to sit down with another photographer, one on one and share any insight and tips that I could, that I’ve learned along my 5 year journey. Of course, I’m still learning and always will be learning things about the photography industry, how to fine-tune my posing, or maybe it’s learning new computer programs.. the list goes on and on!! But I CAN share my experiences with another photographer and offer encouragement as well. I’ve learned from so many amazing people that were so willing to share their journeys and tips/tricks to help me succeed and I know if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be where I am today! Realizing how much I’ve learned from one-on-one experience, being able to come with a LIST of questions and getting direct answers is just honestly priceless.

So when Angie contacted me in January about doing a mentoring session and I couldn’t have felt more honored or excited!! Angie is a sweet, sweet friend that I got the opportunity to meet a few years back when doing a green house styled session with her and a few other photographers! It was so fun meeting up with her at a local coffee shop (and side note: she brought me cookies in the cutest packaging!) and catching up on life and business. It’s amazing how fast those 2 hours went by.. we could’ve just talked about life for that long!! :) She brought her list of questions that she had for me and It was honestly so fun being able to share what I knew. I’m so proud of Angie, being a mother of two adorable children and doing photography on the side. She is a great friend and mother, and I cannot wait to see where her business leads her!! Xo!
