It wasn’t until after Mitch attended college out-of-state for 4 years, that upon returning home he reached out to Brooke on Facebook after seeing she was single from previously dating. After dating for a month or two, Brooke made a list of everything that she wanted in a guy, thinking it would be impossible to find someone that fit the mold. But to her surprise she DID… a.k.a Mitch!

They spent the day together, running errands and doing some shopping when they finally arrived back at Mitch’s family farm. Seeing deer on the property multiple times before, Mitch asks Brooke, “Do you see that deer?” She replied, “No, where?!” and Mitch says, “look right there” as Brooke sees the fence lined in lights that read, “Brooke, will you marry me?”. Then they headed into the barn where friends and family were hiding and waiting to celebrate with them!
