They met through mutual friends and it was her best friend and his best friend that brought BJ + Taylor together. Since 2015 they’ve been at each others side, laughing and enjoying life together.

July 2nd marked BJ’s birthday and he insisted for his birthday that he needed a party to celebrate. So like most girls do, Taylor started planning it for him, including all of their family and closest friends. But little did she know that she was secretly planning her own engagement party!

Just before they ate, B.J got everyone’s attention and rounded them up for prayer and a “speech”. He began his speech with thanking everyone for coming out on behalf of him and ended it with proposing to Taylor in front of them all! Looking back, Taylor recalls this,”We closed with prayer and enjoyed the beautiful day that God blessed us with. It was a perfect day to say the least. We have talked about marriage, building our dream house, kids… the whole nine yards! We knew we would get married one day but I never knew that July 7th 2018 is where that journey would begin!”
