I don’t often get the honor of doing a maternity session but it’s still so special documenting this season of life! I wasn’t sure if we were able to get the session completed because of the weather. Thankfully, the rain held off until the last few poses of the session..whew!

I got to meet Dustin + Abby for the first time, and they’re as sweet and fun as could be. They’re super laid back and down to earth, which always makes my job easier! This was such a special maternity session for them (obviously) but also for me because of what Abby told me. Keep reading to find out why!

When Abby inquired about her session, she told me a little about their story. “After 3 years of trying and 3 miscarriages, God has blessed us with a healthy pregnancy so far. By the grace of God, I am currently 20 weeks, due April 9th, 2020, with a baby boy.” Oh, how EXCITING and so humbling that I was chosen to document the pregnancy with their miracle baby. I truly could not be more honored or thankful.

Dustin + Abby, you’re going to be amazing parents, and I truly couldn’t be happier for you two! I cannot wait to hear about Baby Boy’s grand arrival!! Enjoy some of my favorites!
