A common question that’s asked about taking engagement photos is, “Don’t you get tired of photographing the same thing over and over again?”. And my answer is NO because I get to travel to new locations! Valley Forge National Park was a new location for me and man, was it amazing! I loved walking around the park with James + Chloe, laughing with each step we took.
After reading Chloe’s wedding inquiry, I’ve been counting down the days until we could officially meet! She wrote, “I’ve following you on Facebook ever since Jeanie and Kevin’s Wedding (2017). Your pictures are gorgeous.” So, when we officially got to meet in the valley forge national park parking lot, it was bound to be a good evening! In other words, it’s your turn to officially meet a new Kelsey Renee couple! Meet, James + Chloe . . .
“We met at Penn State while we were both finishing our undergrads. James had been involved in a program called Outdoor School. It gives 5th graders an opportunity to spend a week in the woods with college students while learning about nature! (It’s an AWESOME program).
After I signed up to be a counselor for a week at Outdoor School – we connected on social media. We started dating in September of 2015 (with a 6-month “vacation” as we like to call it from each other somewhere in the middle) and the rest is “history”.
James took me back to Shaver’s Creek (a common thread in how our whole story started) to see the “new renovations”. Well, it was raining and cold outside. When he said he wanted to walk outside to an environmental center I was a little skeptical.
He walked me down to a gazebo overlooking the lake and popped the question. James even had a friend from Shaver’s Creek take a few candid photos (really what every girl dreams of ). It was really special and a day that I will never forget.”
James + Chloe – THANK YOU for such a wonderful evening filled with so much laughter! You guys are the bomb.com and I’m so thankful for you!!! Hope you enjoyed your sneak previews! ;)
