I never imagined that my first engagement session blog post would only be coming out in JULY! Typically it’s months before this but no thanks to COVID, here we are! Regardless, I’m SO excited to be kicking it off with Adam + Jaine’s White Chimneys engagement session!
“Back in 2017, we both worked at the Wyomissing Target. He worked in Electronics and I was in the clothing department. When I had my first huddle in the morning with all the employees, Adam remembers noticing how cute I was and said to his buddy, “Oh, she’s cute”.
It took him until the end of the summer to really start talking to me. I remember checking the schedule to see if he was working with me the next day. If he was I would try to look my best on those days, what a female!
Two years into dating, he took me back to Virginia for our two year anniversary. We went out to a fancy dinner and I knew it was going to happen. We sat down, and at the corner of my eye, I saw an engagement ring balloon blowing in the wind. I got so nervous because I thought that he had a whole parade set up and I wanted to die. He saw me get nervous and look over at it, and he said, “oh you see that balloon over there, that’s not for us! Do you really think I would propose right now? I haven’t even had time to ask your parents.”
A whole family showed up and sat down at the table with the balloon and I was so happy he didn’t ask me in front of a whole restaurant of people! What a coincidence! After dinner, we went to a theater and on the way back, he stopped me at this cute arch in downtown Lynchburg and said “do you really think I wouldn’t propose on our two year anniversary?” and then asked me! What a wild day!”.
Adam + Jaine – I loved being able to start the engagement season with you two! I’m so excited about your wedding at White Chimneys in October and know that it’s going to be the best day ever!! Enjoy some of my favorites from your session!
