I can’t deny that branding sessions have found a new place in my heart and business. While I’m still entirely dedicated to being a Lancaster, PA Wedding and Engagement photographer, I’ve also found a new love in life. Branding sessions!!
What makes branding sessions for small business owners so fun and exciting? There’s a lot of reasons, but the main reason is that they’re custom and unique to every business! Once you’ve completed your branding session, you may feel stuck on all of the ways to use branding photos. Well you’re in luck!
(specifically your landing page and about page)
Starting off with the most popular idea of how to use your new head shots; Your website!! This is most likely one of the highest traffic areas that people go to learn more about you and your business. It’s important to have updated, professional head shots to appeal to your ideal client!
This is a great area to show off your new head shots when sending emails out to your newsletter list! By showing your face and establishing your brand with your community, you’ll also building the “like, know and trust” factor – all with your head shots!
Consistency across all of your social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) is super important! When updating your profile photos, make sure to use the same one! This will also help your clients to identify they’re following the right person when they see that your photos are identical.
As you can see here, I love to incorporate images as my blog post headers to assist in drawing attention to that specific post. You could write a blog post that is educating your potential clients more about your business, how you serve them and why your business can solve their problems!
Showcasing one of your new images with an opt-in form would be a great way to lead people to your newsletter. People buy from people!
This may vary based on your business (like a realtor, financial advisor, etc) and if you hand out physical paper materials or even business cards! People will remember your business just by seeing your face on your marketing materials.
I love creating these graphics for Instagram Stories and using images that match the blog post graphics, as well as facebook graphics. Fun fact: Pinterest is not a social media platform! However, it does still use graphics for pins which is a great way to incorporate your head shots!
If you went to google and searched your business name, what image comes up? By having your business set up on google – you can upload a head shot to show viewers who you are! Establishing that instant connection with showing your face, they’re more likely to click on your website!
If you send a digital pricing guide or educational guide to your clients, be sure to add at least ONE image (bonus points if you’re looking at the camera!). You want to establish that authority and professionalism from the start!
Including an about me page in your PDF’s is important! Or show off multiple images to give your customers a true “behind-the-scenes” look into your business!
