I love getting the opportunity to photograph at new venues and this Historic Ashland wedding was definitely one for the books! Photographing at a new venue allows new photo opportunities which is one of the things I loved about this Historic Ashland Wedding. I felt like I didn’t have enough time to utilize all of the spots that I wanted to!
Another thing that I loved about this day was that Blake and Brittany planned FOUR first looks for their day! I’m pretty sure that’s a record but also the maximum amount that you can possibly do haha! From a bridesmaids first look, daddy daughter and bride and groom first look to their reception first look – it was so fun to experience the joy on everyone’s faces each time.
I think that’s why I love weddings because there’s so many moments of joy. Joy and excitement when the bride officially gets to wear her dress. Or maybe it’s the joy in the parents faces, witnessing their children share their vows. Or maybe it’s the joy of walking down the aisle as husband and wife for the first time. There’s so many moments to love and seeing Blake & Brittany experience this joy all day long was the best celebration of all!

Their seating chart on the right, from Caroline’s Rentals, is probably my new favorite! They had their guests names and table on the gold clip around the glass rim!
