It only seems fitting to share our baby shower photos on the day I hit 38 weeks of pregnancy, right? While we still have possibly a few weeks left, I wanted to share all about my baby shower, the amazing people and vendors that made it all possible! It was definitely a little warm and humid but everyone made the best of it which I was super thankful for. People came from near and far and I was so blessed to celebrate with my closest friends and family!!
I know that our son is already so dearly loved, supported and celebrated and soon, we’ll be announcing his long-awaited arrival!
Being a planner at heart, I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to plan my own baby shower details. The location, food, decor – all of it. With the help of my family and my in-laws and friend, they truly helped me bring my vision to life and it all turned out just the way I wanted!
First off, I hosted the baby shower at the most adorable place, White Gables Garden House! It was perfect for a small crowd with plenty of natural light and charm.
Caroline’s Rentals supplied one of my favorite little touches – the mix matched blue goblets (as well as the gold candle sticks and chargers!). She has an amazing variety of inventory to rent, so please, check her out!
Kim’s Bakery made these custom sugar cookies that were amazing! I sent her a photo that I found on pinterest and knew I wanted to incorporate these in the shower. Everyone got a custom cookie on their plate as a favor.. I was so happy with how they turned out!
So thankful for the help and support of my mom and sister and also my in-laws!! They’re the best!!
The main course of the shower was this amazing (and plentiful) charcuterie board from Cypress & Thyme Events. They also did an incredible job, were super easy to work with and everything was delicious – look how beautiful that looks!!
All of these photos? Special thanks to my dear friend, Olivia, for allowing me to sit back and soak in my baby shower while documenting the whole day that I can now look back on and relive anytime I want!! So so thankful for her and blessing me with these photos!
This picture is incredibly special – not only are we now *almost* ALL mothers (how?!?) but we’ve been together since KINDERGARTEN (whether by school or church) and to have these ladies take the time away from their own kiddos and schedules to be there to support me was so special. I will cherish this photo forever!!!
Clearly geeking out over the cutest baby outfits – they’re SO SMALLLLL!
Also! Kim’s Bakery made the most delicious cupcakes that matched my color theme.. they were definitely a hit!
Also, special thanks to my mother for taking the time to make the rice krispie treats for the shower! She did a great job for a last minute request! :)
anndddd yep. Still geeking out over his clothes! haha!
So so thankful for this special day, for everyone that was involved and celebrated with me! It was truly the best baby shower and now the countdown is on for little baby boy Strothers to make his grand debut!
