I knew from the moment we started planning this hair and makeup branding session, it was going to be off the charts. Tiffany, with 139 Beauty Co, really maxed out her hair and makeup branding session to the fullest. Not only did we get to incorporate hair and makeup but also some of her other favorite things in life!

One of the goals of branding sessions is to, of course, showcase what you do in your business. Showing you in action as a business owner doing your job and also what it’s like behind the scenes is key. This gives potential clients a fun peek into your business and seeing you in action, doing what you do best!

I think it’s important to showcase the personal side of each CEO as well. This allows potential clients to connect with you and bond over mutual hobbies, brands or things to do! Tiffany incorporated so many fun things like watercolor painting, exercise and making sourdough bread. It was SO fun to branch out and spend a few minutes incorporating these things into her session.

What can you tell me about your business?

“139 Beauty Co. serves sophisticated brides, providing bespoke bridal hair and makeup artistry that reflects the unique beauty of each client. I am, by nature, a compliment giver and an encourager. I believe beauty should be authentic, timeless, create a lasting impression, evoke wonder and invite respect. Lastly, I believe that true beauty commands admiration.

This is why I specialize in hair and makeup that enhances the features the Creator gave each of my clients. I use state-of-the-art techniques to complement their bridal style, dress, and personality with a custom look that feels like them.

I understand that I have the absolute honor of serving them in the first quiet moments of their wedding day. In my chair, everything becomes real. All of the planning, decisions and anticipation culminate in this long-awaited day with the love of their life. I take every opportunity to prepare, cater to their needs and advocate for them.”

Why did you get started in this business?

“I was always good at art growing up, but knew I couldn’t go to school to be an artist (because we all know we’ve been told “artists don’t make any money” lol). I originally went to school for professional counseling then switched my major to teaching. when I tried teaching my first year in real life it was draining the life out of me. So instead, I went back to school to become a Beautician – and it all just made sense! It was like, “yes! THIS is what God has made me to do”.

I was always good at art, and hair, and makeup, but I just never even considered the wedding industry. Anyways, I knew it was meant to be because the beautician aspects of my job have never felt like “work” but always felt like “art therapy” for me and the rest was history.

THE WHY of my Business and name is: Because I want to encourage beauty that reflects deeper. While my overall intention is an incredible look that illuminates clients’ best features, I recognize that true beauty begins within. This is why I drew inspiration from Psalm 139 in the Bible for my business name. I believe that every woman deserves to confidently know she is a unique and marvelous wonder — respectfully, reverently and lovingly created by God Himself. With real to life hair and makeup artistry, you honor the gifts our Creator gave you — a divine beauty that starts within. This is my goal.

I love meeting each client and really getting to know them at the trial run or during their headshot session, seeing people grow and change through the seasons of their lives (engagement, to marriage, to maternity, to family).”

After serving hundreds of brides, I’ve created a signature look that harnesses your unique beauty, bringing your image to light in a way that others have not mastered or seen before. Obviously, your wedding day is one of the most significant days in your life. As a result, I seek to provide a thoughtful and curated bridal experience.

I offer a memorable bridal journey full of sentimental, personal touches that allow you to think back on these best moments of your life. Your wedding is a positive, beautiful, indelible moment of time that deserves to be cherished, just like the marriage it symbolizes. I also offer a welcome guide to my brides with some inspiring pictures, beauty prep advice/tips for the wedding day and beyond (skincare, hair care, coupon codes, etc.).

The way you may feel when walking into a coffee shop in the streets of Rome. The smells you know you’ll never forget and the welcoming seating you just want to stay in forever under the early morning blue sky.
