Wow, wow, wow! I could have never predicted that my first time to Philadelphia for Austin + Alison’s engagement session would be *this* amazing!! Minus the parking ticket of course but, you know, you win some and you lose some. That’s what I’m telling myself anyway! It’s been on my Photography bucket list to shoot in Philadelphia, especially at the Merchant Exchange Building!! Dreams really do come true, friends!

So Austin + Alison pretty much made my job 100% easier than normal because they were so snuggly and as Alison says best, “Austin and I are permanently (shamelessly) stuck in the honeymoon phase”. What started as a huge crush from afar during their college days lead them to a 5-hour phone call and the rest is history. After that, Alison knew that he was the one and that she was going to marry him!

Fast-forward three and a half years to hear their sweet proposal story! (Told from Alison’s Perspective) “Austin and I shared our mutual desire for a hot air balloon proposal. Austin and a group of the greatest friends spent days orchestrating a sunset hot air balloon ride over Lancaster. It involved a top-secret group chat, a ridiculously convincing FAKE Groupon ad and a lot of planning. But sometimes God has other plans and a few hours prior, it was canceled for weather. But then something amazing happened. All my loved ones came together and pulled off the sweetest picnic by the water at a vineyard. I’ve never felt more loved than I did at that moment! I truly cannot imagine the proposal happening any other way and at the end of the day, we’re engaged – isn’t that all that matters?”. YES! And it was still such a magical time!

Austin + Alison – I’m SO thankful that we have your wedding day to look forward to yet because I’m not even ready to have our time come to a close already!! And also because your wedding day is going to be so so amazing ( I already know it!) and you’re both going to look stunning! Thank you for choosing me and for trusting me to be a part of this amazing milestone! (And also for allowing me to cross off the Merchant Exchange Building from my bucket list! hah!)
