I have GOOGLE to thank for this Longwood Gardens engagement session. Yes, you read that correctly! Kellye told me, “I found your info while googling away for super gorgeous locations and your pictures popped up!” Within a few emails, things were paid, booked, and set into motion!
It’s not often that I only photograph just an engagement session and not the wedding because I do 100% of the time only offer it as a package deal. However, Evan + Kellye are actually eloping in the Vegas Desert! Uhh, hello that’s amazing.
Since they both were starting new jobs, the timing of asking off already was too soon. So, we had only ONE day to make it work. I should also note that when we planned their Longwood Gardens engagement session, it was expected to rain 100% with flash flood warnings. On top of that, it was “member appreciation day” which was expected to be fuller than normal. Does that make you anxious just reading all of that? Yeah, me too. haha!
Evan + Kellye were absolute troopers through the immense amount of humidity (94% to be exact .. yikes!) and were up for anything! Not to mention their sweet and adorable personalities! They met at the gym that Evan previously worked at and developed a really good friendship that led to us hanging out. For their anniversary in January, they had a beautiful dinner at Gordon Ramsay Steak in Baltimore, and after dinner, he proposed in the restaurant! I might add – he proposed with the most gorgeous ring, too!
Go check out my favorites from their Longwood Gardens Engagement session and don’t forget to stop at the ring!
