I’m super excited to share this Blue Marsh Engagement Session with you for many reasons! First, I absolutely LOVE shooting at new locations and this Blue Marsh engagement session location was new to me! I think you’re going to like the results just as much as I did!
Secondly, Sara has been no stranger to me! We grew up together from little on up and I also got to reconnect with her at her sisters wedding! Sara comes from the SWEETEST family so you can imagine just how much of a gem she is! They always said that there was (in their words), “NO OTHER OPTION” to have another photographer, regardless if I was still doing weddings or not! haha! So you can imagine how excited I was to hear from Sara about her engagement!
After briefly meeting Devin at their engagement session, I knew he was the perfect fit for her. You can literally *see* the way he just adores and loves her. Their “hug”? Yeah, it’s so precious by the way that she’s just engulfed in his arms. Let’s check it out!

This November will mark 4 years of dating for them, which they have been doing long distance since the fall of 2018! In 2018, they both adventured to do Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM, and next year they will both be on staff with YWAM Lancaster! So so proud of them for all that they’re doing!
I think one of the best parts of this, is that they’re high school sweethearts! They met in 9th-grade Spanish class, liked each other for 2 years but never told each other! When Sara turned 17, they started dating until August 2020 when Devin PROPOSED!
“I thought I was going to a tea party with his mom and sisters, but instead, I was greeted by a blanket with rose petals, where devin asked me to marry him!”.
Couldn’t be more excited for them – they’re an amazing couple who is going to do BIG things in Lancaster, and wherever they go! I’m just so thankful to be on the sidelines cheering them on! xo!
