Woo-hoo! It’s the first engagement session of 2021 which can only mean one thing. It’s finally busy season again! Luke and Joni chose Indian Steps Museum as their engagement session location since that’s where Luke proposed!
Luke & Joni – I truly couldn’t be more excited for your wedding! You both radiate so much love and happiness that it’s obvious that you’re a great fit for eachother! So excited to see you tie the knot, oh so soon!! Enjoy!
“So it’s crazy, but Luke’s mom actually always used to say that he and I would get married someday (literally ever since kindergarten). We rode the same school bus, lived 3 minutes apart, but never talked.“
“I think part of it was because we both knew what his mom said so we felt awkward like we couldn’t even look at each other lol. Fast forward to two summers ago, we talked for the first time at our local little church picnic. We were in line for food and then I talked to his mom and nana and we instantly connected. I was thinking of them that following week, so I sent both his mom and nana flowers. Luke reached out to thank me and we talked every day since :)“
“I painted my nails EVERY weekend before for like at least 2 months (lol) but at that point, I figured he was probably just going to wait until Christmas. He ended up surprising me the weekend before (the ONE weekend I did NOT have my nails painted…haha priorities.. :))! We went to Indian Steps Museum where we often go to walk around, picnic, fish and just hang out.“
“It had just snowed the day before and the fresh snow had been untouched, so we felt like the only two people for miles – he took me out on our rock and I turned around to him down on one knee :) He proposed with the ring that his dad had custom made for his mom, which made it even more touching and special.“
“Looking back at our lives we can really see the Lord’s hand in many events we’ve experienced both before we got together and even now over the last year.“
