Another Kennett Square Engagement Session is in the books! When I’m with my couples, I like to joke that it’s truly just my backyard and I let other people enjoy it. Lame? Probably :) But I really can’t blame so many of my couples for loving Longwood Gardens. (Here’s my proof).
Jake & Kelsie’s (great name BTW) Kennett Square Engagement Session was the perfect addition to the Longwood Gardens growing portfolio. They are going to be eloping in Colorado and so I had the honor to hang out with them for just the evening! Still so excited to show them around one of my favorite photo locations and get to know them even if it was for a hours!
“We both always like to keep busy and LOVE to travel. Our biggest trip was a one month long road trip that we took around the country in 2017, from pa, to Chicago, out to Montana, through Colorado, Texas, Tennessee and back. Living in a Ford Fusion for a month together makes me pretty confident in our future marriage. Also, that trip is also what inspired us to want to elope in Colorado!”
“Jake and I actually met in middle school! We “dated” in middle school until Jake ultimately “broke up” with me after like 3 weeks lol. Quotes because none of it was very serious, BUT I do still bring it up from time to time.”
“We then started talking more often again when I was a senior in high school and he was a freshman in college and the rest is history, we have been together ever since.”
“After years of being patient,… and then years of harassment, Jake FINALLY, proposed a month before us being together for 8 years.”
“I planned a trip to a cabin in Matamoras for his birthday and while I was in the shower there getting ready, Jake set up a whole thing on the patio around their fire pit. He had wine, strawberries, cheese, pictures of people we love (including a selfie of him with each of our cats). It was perfect!”
